DAVE'S REMORSE

Dave was humilated after seeing his post on the blog and consequently sped at full speed to the "website queen" Nicola, who has uploaded the images on to the client page. If you would like to order prints from Emma & Darren's wedding at Auchen Castle please email either myself or Kate at images@ecountry.demon.co.uk for a price list or alternatively call us on 01949 20023

AUCHEN CASTLE COURIER PROBLEMS

This is just a quick post to let all the Auchen Castle clan know that there has been a slight delay on uploading the images from Emma & Darren's wedding because special courier Dave (pictured) got distracted on his way to Nicola " the website queen " Brown. When questioned about this snapshot of Dave captured in the Market Square in Notingham he apologised for the delay blaming satellite navigation issues. However this has now been resolved and he has promised images will be available to view on the site at close of play Monday.

A GRAND DAY OUT

After the the previous day's events at Auchen Castle it was lovely to have a free day to explore the local area in and around Moffat. So after backing up all the images from Emma and Darren's wedding we ate a hearty breakfast and set off in the direction of Edinburgh. I have to say i have always loved visiting Scotland because of the breathtaking scenery awaiting your gaze around every corner and after a short drive up the A701 and a right turn at Tweedsmuir again our eyes were not disappointed .

AUCHEN CASTLE

Hi guys, sorry for the lack of posts last month but we've been so busy we just didn't get a chance! Anyway after a hectic start to May i find myself with a few hours free so i thought i would update you on our lovely trip to Auchen Castle in Scotland for the wedding of Emma and Darren Penney. We set off on the 230 mile journey bright and early last Friday the 4th, mainly to have a recce of the grounds etc to look for potential pictures and to introduce ourselves to the Castle staff. After a good look round and a lovely cup of tea we travelled to nearby Moffat to check into our hotel looking forward to a early night ready for the day ahead.

Boys will be boys ......

The wedding day started brightly with a falconry display around 11.00am, where afterwards Kate and i concentrated on the bride's preparations. I have to say the rest of the day flew by (no pun intended!) as we set about our duties, shooting the final shots close to midnight - but this wasn't before we had set up a slideshow of selected images from the day's events for the guests to enjoy as they partied on into the early hours ( ps.... thank you for all your lovely comments ).Kate and i retuned to our hotel after what we both thought had been a smashing day but ready for a hot cup of coco and a warm bed.
